The New York Giants had no hangover from last week’s big win, pounding the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 24-0.
Quarterback Byron Leftwich was constantly harassed by the Giants front four and has subsequently lost his job over the poor performance.
The running attack was back on track after being shut down by the Cowboys, as Brandon Jacobs found the end zone and Ahmad Bradshaw topped the 100-yard mark.
Quarterback Eli Manning also had a solid game, tossing a couple of touchdown passes, including one to Steve Smith.
The Giants have another gimme next week when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs.

The New York Giants are 3-0 after a methodical 24-0 beating of the host Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. A week after a winning a primetime thriller against the Dallas Cowboys, the Giants made sure this game lacked any suspense. Head coach Tom Coughlin wanted his team to focus on the areas of the game it struggled in against Dallas, particularly running the ball and stopping the run, and it’s safe to say he was pleased with how his players bounced back. The ground game accumulated over 200 yards, and the defense stuffed the run to the tune of just 28 yards rushing for the Bucks.
Eli Manning was an efficient 14 of 24 for 161 yards and two touchdowns before being given most of the fourth quarter off with the win wrapped up.
With games against Kansas City and Oakland coming up, there’s no reason to think New York won’t be 5-0 and leading the race for the NFC East crown almost a third of the way through the season.

In what turned out to be a fantastic finish, the New York Giants nipped the Dallas Cowboys, 33-31.
The Giants comeback victory managed to ruin what was the Cowboys first regular season game in their new stadium.
Quarterback Eli Manning played the best game I’ve ever seen him play, throwing for 330 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
The defense turned in a very shaky performance, as the unit was gashed by the Dallas running game.
However, they forced quarterback Tony Romo into enough mistakes to make up for their poor run defense.

The New York Giants got their season off to a fine start by cruising to a 23-17 victory over the Washington Redskins. It’s always nice to start the season off with a victory, and it is especially sweet when it comes at the hands of a division rival.
It wasn’t a banner day on the offensive side of the ball, as the Giants really struggled to get the running game going. Everything worked out just fine, though, thanks to a strong performance from their defensive unit.
The unit had several sacks, forced turnovers and even ran a fumble back for a touchdown.
